Go Green this May 13!

Election again, sadly reviewing the candidate’s platform only few includes the protection of the environment in their platform. So as a voter looking for a green candidates have no other option but to look on their green track records. Fortunately, Rappler, an online news media have an article entitled “How'green' is your Senate bet?which have a matrix of candidates who have best and worst green track records. Sadly, those have worst track records belong to the administration bet and now leading the pre-election survey. Only two from administration included in the top twelve who have a good green track records. Seven from opposition and three are independent.  The candidate that is the most green is Neri Colmenares and worst is Bong Go. Neri got the number 1 spot for creating laws that will protect the environment and serve as lawyer for environmentalist. While Bong Go got the last spot is for the Duterte administration favoring China’s project that will harm the environment like Chico and Kaliwa dam projects.

If you are green lover, you can use this matrix to select your 12 senators this coming May 13 election. You can view the chart by visiting this page: “How 'green' is yourSenate bet?
